A modernised terrace home in the heart of Newtown has been sold at auction with 6 registered bidders competing for the property on auction day. Award winning Sydney real estate auctioneer Clarence White of Menck White Auctioneers called the auction for Matthew Carvalho and Bianca Field of Ray White and sold the property under the hammer.
The clearance rate in Sydney continues to ease as a flood of new stock has hit the market since the end of lockdown. This in turn has pushed the average number of bidders for any one property down as buyers spread out across the available stock. Sydney's housing market remains strong, however conditions that have seen the biggest boom in our history are now easing a little in favour of buyers.
